On Copyright

The copyrighted works used in my fanworks are used legally as allowed under "fair use" law

"The use of the copyrighted material is justified as fair use under 17 USC 107 because it is (a) transformative and (b) does not adversely affect the market or potential market of the original work or derivative works. The central purpose of this investigation [into purpose and character of use] is to see ... whether the new work merely "supersede[s] the objects" of the original creation, or instead adds something new, with a further purpose or different character, altering the first with new expression, meaning, or message; it asks, in other words, whether and to what extent the new work is "transformative." Anything that's some kind of visual fanwork that isn't a vid is here. Currently, that means a handful of icons and some lolcat SGA macros. You can has them.

All icons are roughly 100x100, standard size for LiveJournal. Feel free to take and use as you see fit, but please upload to your own server if possible. =)
